HARF The Story Behind
Harf Arabic Specialised Center has been founded in Armenia by Nare Vardumyan, an Arabist with a strong academic background, a graduate of Yerevan State University and Kuwait University.
"The Arabic language and the Arab world are my passion. This passion brought me here. I have always dreamed of creating a center, that would be more than a language center, but a unique Arabic spot, where people could learn the language while discovering the Arab world, culture, and music.
And I did it. I founded Harf, which means "letter" in Arabic. Everything begins with a letter, letters become words, words become sentences, sentences become speech. Harf is a new beginning, the first step on a new path".
